The wooden bucket should be stored upside down in the coolest possible place, e.g. on the floor of a warehouse between uses. An empty bucket should not be left on benches in the residual heat of the sauna, nor should it be stored in a room with underfloor heating.

If you want to store water in a bucket for a longer period of time, keep it as full as possible and make sure the bottom is well ventilated to avoid mold. Keeping water in the container will cause the wood to darken.

If your wooden container starts to crack, store it in a cooler place in the future.
