These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our website https://kaurilasauna.eu (“Site”), online store, reservations, and our physical stores. By using the Site, making purchases, or reservations, you agree to these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.

2. Applicable legislation

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Finnish law . For consumer customers, the Consumer Protection Act is also applied.

3. Service content

a. Online store

  • We sell sauna products, gift cards and other products.
  • Prices include VAT (value added tax). Shipping costs are stated separately.

b. Reservations

  • Sauna sessions, events and other services are booked through the Website or in store.
  • The reservation is binding after payment has been made.

c. Stores

  • Products can also be purchased on site.
  • The services follow the same terms and conditions as the online store.

4. Ordering and formation of a contract

  1. The order is placed on the Website or in store.
  2. A contract is created when:
    • In the online store: you will receive an order confirmation by email.
    • In store: payment is made.
  3. The reservation is binding once payment has been made.

5. Payment methods

We accept:

  • Online payments: Visa, Mastercard, MobilePay, OP, Nordea, etc.
  • In store: cash, card, MobilePay.

Payments are processed through secure payment service providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal). We do not store payment card information.

6. Delivery

  • Delivery methods: Post, Matkahuolto, pick-up from the store.
  • Delivery time: 2–7 business days (unless otherwise stated).
  • Shipping costs: shown at checkout.
  • In-store pickup: free, select checkout.

7. Right of withdrawal (distance selling)

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from delivery. Terms:

  • The product is unused, in original packaging and saleable.
  • Please notify us of your cancellation in writing (email: info@kaurilasauna.eu ).
  • Return the product within 14 days of notification.
  • The customer pays the return costs, unless otherwise agreed.

No right of withdrawal:

  • Hygiene products (e.g. table cloths, detergents), if the package has been opened.
  • Gift cards and digital products.
  • Special orders (personalized products).

8. Cancellation policy for reservations

  • More than 48 hours before: full refund.
  • 24–48 hours before: 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before or no-show: no refund.

9. Warranty and complaints

  • The products have a warranty in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act .
  • Report the defect within a reasonable time (max. 2 months from discovery).

10. Intellectual property rights

All content on the Site (text, images, logos, trademarks) is the property of or licensed to Kaurila Sauna . Use without permission is prohibited.

11. Limitation of liability

  • We are not responsible for any indirect damages.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the order .
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the Site.

12. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by force majeure (e.g. strike, war, natural disaster).

13. Age limit

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the website and services.
  • Those under 18 years of age can use with the consent of a guardian.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update the Terms. The most recent version will always be posted on the Site. By continuing to use the Site, you agree to the changes.

15. Dispute Resolution

  • Primarily by negotiation.
  • The consumer can bring the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board. .
  • Place of jurisdiction: Helsinki District Court (for consumers, also the district court of their place of residence).
