Tar products were manufactured in Vaasa as early as the 19th century. The manufacturing process has been modernized a lot since then, but we still use genuine Finnish tar and you can tell by the smell and color.

The products contain genuine pine tar from Finnish nature. Tar soap is a very mild vegetable fat-based soap that gently cleanses the skin and relieves itching.
Vaasan Aito Saippua Oy – Vasa Tvål Ab’s traditions go back far to the 19th century. In the production of soaps, vegetable fats are preferred and as far as possible we use domestic raw materials. The raw materials are of very high quality and we manufacture all products ourselves from start to finish.
