The towel is made of cotton-linen (50% / 50%) and is perfect for the kitchen, bathroom or as a single-person bench cover. Shrinkage in the lengthwise direction is approximately 7%, patterned when damp, stretching in the lengthwise direction. Hanging loop in the corner. Wash at sixty degrees, line dry. Size 56x43cm.

Manufacturing: The fabric is made in Europe. The towels are cut in Aitoo, printed in the same location partly using solar power (an estimated one in four towels is printed entirely using solar power), sewn in Pirkanmaa and finished in Porvoo.

Our kitchen towel fabric is a traditional so-called "half-linen", i.e. a fabric that is cotton in the warp direction and linen in the weft direction. This combines the good properties of both materials in the fabric. Half-linen fabric is light and airy, very absorbent and relatively lint-free. The fabric we use is woven in Europe's old flax regions in Eastern Europe. Growing flax does not require many pesticides, artificial irrigation or fertilizers. In addition, it is a very durable fiber. For these reasons, flax is an ecological material.
