Apricot kernel oil is a nearly odorless oil that, as its name suggests, is obtained from the seeds of the apricot tree. Apricot kernel oil is rich in GLA, which is an omega-6 fatty acid. GLA helps the skin maintain its moisture balance.

Apricot seed oil also contains omega-9 fatty acids and vitamins A and E, which act as antioxidants that slow down skin aging. In addition, apricot seed oil has anti-inflammatory properties.

Quickly absorbed apricot kernel oil lightly moisturizes the skin and makes it soft. It is best suited for normal and oily skin types, as it is light and does not leave the skin feeling oily. Gentle apricot kernel oil is hypoallergenic, so it is also suitable for baby skin care.

This nourishing and gentle oil can be used as a base oil for almost any cosmetic or perfume. Due to its skin-softening properties, apricot kernel oil is particularly suitable as an ingredient in facial serums, masks and creams. Since apricot kernel oil also contains lubricating ingredients, it is excellent as a massage oil and as part of lip balm.
